Pretty addictive actually. Well made ragdoll, and excellent physics engine. It was the collisions that I really loved, esp the main menu debris. Much better than my ragdoll games imo. Good work! Im thinking about upgradin to F9 now ^_^

Great idea using negative space for a platformer, i quite enjoyed this one, however the flash crashed on me. I was shifted (white on black) and walked into some spikes. The flash just conked it when it tried to render the blood splatter effect.

I loved this very much. Despite your small deadline, your attention to detail was in all the right places. You truly are a spirited artist, and I would of given anything to have witnessed you stick this to the art teachers. =þ
I wish you all the best for your career. Just remember the proverbial 'starving artist'

nice work using softimage, excellent camera choices and nice clean modeling. I still feel however that this is a bit unnecessary, a video of ones work in an unrelated field embedded into a flash movie does not represent Flash. Thou it may exhibit ones skill in animating within a 3d environment, i feel it does not reflect flash animation, and find it unfair that a menu created in flash and embedded footage of an unrelated program can win daily awards. Democracy has spoken...

i know what you mean, that's why I apologized in advance! ;)
but claymation also has it's place on NG, so why shouldn't 3D as well? Either way, take this as an exception, 99% of my other work is purely flash made nonetheless.

"Could be worse, but i was expecting better"
the animation was good in the keyframe sense but generally speaking when you enter a film class, or any class based on the notion of art, your work should involve some kind of point, value or theme. Even if your theme was randomosity, all your individual animations portrayed perpetuating childishness. For me the subject matterdidnt really enforce your theme as opposed to give me funny lines to look at.

Pretty good, animating to a dbz movie would have been good practice. i wish you gave the sticks a bit more detail in some bits, but thats just niggly. Im chuffed you chose to use the original japanese dubbing too, my liking for it helped on the few bits you forgot subtitles :P

not bad, even though i know the exact file you used to build this. Im glad at least you understood it enough to adapt it to a game, though its a pity that the extent of that was to permanently attach the doll to the mouse and make the linestyle of the blood thinner. i did enjoy the minigame style and it has given me some inspiration for my own ragdoll series ive been undertaking.

sprite movies only have any appeal when some level of patience and organisation are put into it, this needed far more planning and time before it was deemed 'finished'. The dodgy fight scenes and abundant use of ESF sound files made it extremely annoying, not to mention the text-speech, i found myself tapping space just to finish the [lack of] animation sooner. Keep practicing, and make sure you plan how you use your sprites a bit better

Addicting and nicely compiled together. The gfx, although simple, were efficient gave it a nice overall style.
i suggest for your next version
- instead, control the players _rotation with your mouse cursor instead of left/right
- make left/right strafe movements, perhaps limited to a quick sideways burst on keyup
- adding backwards thrust movement
I quite enjoyed this, look forward to more from you ^_^

goodconcept, and compiled together nicely, but the sprites just seemed all over the place with mismatching artstyles.
The fact many sprites still contained a one pixel white border around them, and the lack of a jumping or idle stance animations just destroyed the experience for me. The balance of complacency and perfectionism needs addressing, but for the most part, a playable platformer.
